Home Learning

Take 15 and Maths practice is due in on Friday 20th October.

Spellings should be practised daily and will be tested in class during the final week of the half term.

Games and ideas for how to learn spellings are available in this document.

Children should aim to read for a minimum of twenty minutes reading a night to develop fluent reading habits. Reading books are required to be returned to school every day for reading sessions. Please ensure your child remembers their book each day. Once they have finished their book, they will take an Accelerated Reader quiz to check their understanding and help assess their reading progress.

Children should also be playing TT Rock Stars regularly to become fluent in their recall of Times Tables facts. The ideal amount of time to play is around 2 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Please let us know if you need another copy of their log in details.

Key Stage 2 Assessments - SATS

SATS week will take place between Monday 13th May and Thursday 16th May 2023. It is very important that all children are in school on these days to take their assessments. Further details about arrangements for the tests and how the children should prepare for them will be sent out during the academic year.
